The Episcopal Church Lectionary Calendar
2011 Year A
The Lectionary for Sundays is arranged in a three-year cycle, (Years A, B, C) in which Year A always begins on the First Sunday of Advent in years evenly divisible by three. For example, the year 1977 can be evenly divided by three (1977/3=659) Therefore Year A begins on Advent Sunday of that year. For the year 2011 we are in Year A and 2012, we'll move to year B. The scripture quotations are from the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible. Some Sundays may have more than one reading. When in doubt please check with Fr. Robinson.
